Serving Our Community

Jason Gillman has been engaged in public service over a decade, elected once as a county commissioner, and has served on numerous local boards and commissions with a high degree of success each time.

Currently he serves on the Grand Traverse county Road Commission, is the chair of the NMCN property rights group, is an elected delegate to the Grand Traverse County Republican party and sits on the Executive committee as a member of 8 years.

Past Community Service

He served as President of the Traverse Area District library for three of the 8 years as Trustee, leaving the TADL board only recently fiscally sound and with a bright economic future.   He has held the Traverse Area School District to task as necessary, saving taxpayers $107 Million in 2012, and as a citizen watchdog, won a national award in 2011 for exposing a fake tea party group run by Democrats in Michigan, which resulted in the conviction of two individuals on 9 counts of felony election fraud.
